Our Epic Shores
Go Dolphin, Whale, and Seal spotting along our Epic Shores of Cardigan Bay. Cardigan Bay, home to the UK’s largest pod of bottlenose Dolphins, stretches from Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) off the Lleyn Peninsular, along Snowdonia National Park’s coastline all the way down to Stumble Head in South Wales.
Why not enjoy a marine wildlife tour exploring this beautiful coastline. There are several tour opeartors on the Llyen Peninsula.
- Abersoch Angling run widlife cruises from Abersoch daily during the summer, depending on the weather and numbers
- Bardsey Boat Trips regulary cross from Porth Meudwy to Bardsey Island
- Enlli Charters sail from Pwllheli taking in some of the most stunning scenery the UK has to offer
Adopt a Dolphin
Snowdonia Classic Campers supports marine conservation, each one of our campers has adopted its very own Dolphin which if you’re lucky whilst out and about along the coast you may spot.
- Enlli has adopted Flint
- And Nell has taken a shine to Lumpy who stars in the children’s book The Magic Dolphin
Sea Watch’s Adopt a Dolphin campaign helps raise awareness of the challenges Cardigan Bay’s bottlenose dolphins face and supports further research into understanding the complex interactions within the marine environment. We’re proud to be involved in the protection of these magnificent animals.
If you too would like to support this wonderful cause, then like Enlli, Nell and Idwal please adopt a Cardigan Bay Dolphin by clicking on the logo below.
