Connie's CamperJam Adventure
The first weekend in July we took Connie on a trip to CamperJam, at Weston Park, near Telford. Jon had put the rear bumper back on her with a more suitable exhaust and tidied her up with some white paint on her front so she looked a little more presentable. We ended up parking next to a really great looking split that had been beautifully restored but made poor Con look a tad tired in comparison! We had a great day and saw some great campers. I found that I was getting a bit too old for 'some' fairground rides having scared myself on a Gravity Wheel with my 12 year old! The day was topped off nicely by watching England win their quearter final game against Sweden.

Nell's cast in a starring role on the Great Orme
We've had a bit of fun with Nell this July too. Nell has made her first debut as a film star with Snowdonia Classic Campers. The short film, set on the Great Orme near Llandudno, is about 'Adventure' and features my son, Jamie who loves to climb. We hope it will inspire you to go on an 'Adventure' too.

Spring time in Snowdonia
The month of May has been a busy month, all our retro VW girls have been on their travels exploring Snowdonia and the Llŷn Peninsular. We’ve welcomed guests from near and far, and Bessie has had her first wedding with Snowdonia Classic Campers.
All 3 girls carry their spare wheel proud, with a lovely matching wheel cover created by Kate from Totally Trimmed. Nell, has smart new upholstery, from Delilah’s VW Camper Furnishings, and we loved Poppy’s interior created by The CamperShak so much we thought a little extra cupboard space and some seating so everyone can sit around the table inside would just make her just perfect!

A new Campervan arriving soon
It’s just 6 weeks until we open for business with our first bookings in May, with this in mind Jon and I set to work trawling the internet for a potential 3rd classic VW campervan to join our 2 retro girls, Nell and Bessie.
The thing about looking for VW campervans, is that most are located a long way away in Cornwall, an area synonymous with both surf culture, and the VW vanlife but luck was with us and we found two potential gems closer to home, in the North West of England.
So, one Saturday after our youngest’s coaching session at Liverpool’s Climbing Hangar we travelled on to Lancashire to view a 1971 blue and white, early Bay. This camper was lovely, sound, and offered a lot of potential, and as we drove away to look at the 2nd campervan we were excited and tempted but all thoughts were blown away when we met Poppy.
Poppy is a retro stunner, in ‘poppy’ red and pastel white, she is a late 197? Westfalia Bay and interior is all colour coordinated to match. Poppy is 4-berth but can take 5 with her on holiday, as her rear seat will safely seat 3 with seat-belts for all. The rear seat is a full width, rock and roll bed and there is a cosy, 2nd double bed in her pop-up roof. Her interior is modern, with light oak cupboards with a 2 ring hob, grill, fridge and sink and that all important blue-tooth audio system. We think that The CamperShak who kitted her out have done a fantastic job and those of you who take Poppy on holiday will hopefully agree.
Poppy will be available to hire for you holidays in June.

New Wheel Covers
A new look this Easter for Nell and Bessie - we think it suits them and what better way to carry that essential spare tyre. Katie at Totally Trimmed did a great job with the covers, thank you.
